••• My work explores the manipulation of portraiture. I assume control of the photograph and manipulate it with color, and painting techniques available through computer programs. In essence, I transform their individuality into my own assessment of their inner thoughts. I incorporate text, secondary objects and sketches that together make a revealing, new composition of my subject.
